Out of the Dark

Synopsis: Jo lost their sibling, Alex, to a strange portal. Searching relentlessly for a way to go after them, an officer reveals he has also witnessed a portal – the first person to validate their own experience in 15 years. With his help, they find out that these portals haven’t just taken a couple of children. The lost children are not the only ones on the other side of the portal, and they’ll have to first protect themselves if they want to save everyone.

About the Author

David is a father, writer, streamer. With the support of his partner and children, David has been creating stories daily since late 2021. “Wraith and Specter” appeared in Future’s Lens (Jan 2023) and “Escape and Transform” appeared in Reality’s Lens (May 2023). “Tapping at the Door” appeared in Adventures Issue 8 (Sept 2023). Most recently, “Invasive Species” appeared in Warped Lens (Sept 2023).
